I have recently seen several dark spots (around 12-15 of them) around my penis and there is 1 small skin colour bump as well. There is no pain nor itch from them. I had unprotected sex a week ago, and a few days later, I had stains of blood on my underwear everyday. Not just a spot or two, is a patch of brown stain. I am sure that I'm not pregnant, because I had sex after my menses the next day. I do not experience pain when urinating or on normal activity. I had sex today again, and after that, little bit of blood stain was found on the condom and leaked abit on my underwear also. Therefore, should i do a pap smear to make sure I did not get any disease or infections? |

Hi,
my wife have been complaining of itchy and sore at her private part and some greenish discharge from them for about 3days. We approach a GP, he gave my wife and i a jab each and he gave us 2 oral antibiotic: FLAGYL and DOXYCAP.
He mention something about STD and he didn't explain much but only advise us to monitor on my wife's condition for a week.
Please tell me what is going on between the 2 of us.

You can check the details of your test with the institution that had performed the screening. On account of the unprotected sex, you may wish to do some screening. In STI screening, a person can go for a blood test 3 months after exposure for HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B.
The throat problem, headache, eye and leg pain are not related to STI. You can consult a doctor for that. |

Hi,
Me and my bf have been having protected sex every morning for hours for about 3 days straight, but during intercourse i tend to dry up on the outside of my vagina and his movement become painful. Then we started to use a personal lubricant which began to burn upon application. But one morning the condom broke inside of me without and he ejaculated in me. But it came out eventually. We had protected sex once more the next day and it was very painful on the outside walls for my vagina. Its be about 3 days and i'm still sore. He felt down there and said it didn't feel normal so I looked and found out that there are some small painful white bumps on the outside of my vagina and sometimes blood where i was feeling the most pain during intercourse. There is a water discharge with an odor and a large white spot just above my rectal hole. Any idea as to what this may be, what may have caused it, and how to get rid of it?

(a) A blister (size 0.3cm x 0.5cm) on my palm was appeared after 2-3 hours from the sexual exposure. Is it possible the blister is Herpes Whitlow?
(b) Could I touch her saliva on my penis and cause Herpes Whitlow on my palm? Is it possible?
(c) I dont feel anything (no pain / no itchy) on the blister and use finger nail to break the blister and the skin took 3 months to heal. Now the layer is harder than the surrounding skin. Is it Herpes Whitlow?
(d) After a few weeks from the exposure, a few red dots appeared on chest, a few on thighs, a few on arm. Are they herpes? |

Hi there
Would like to ask abt my concern. Recently i went to a public toilet overseas, it was rather clean, just cleaned. I used a tissue to lift up the toilet cover (i do not sit on public toilet seats), but the detergent that was used to just clean the toilet floor was extremely strong and i could not open my eyes, thus wanted to get it over with fast.
In my haste, i think i may have used the same tissue i used to lift the cover, to wipe myself after i urinated.
About 4 days after that, i discovered a pimple near my vagina, near the outer labia. I sometimes get pimples there, and it's usually coz of heatiness etc.
I have put tea tree oil as i usually do, it has reduced, but it is still there (it's been 5 days) , longer than normal. It feels a bit like a cyst.
My question is do i have anything to worry about and could i have contracted anything? Do STDs live on toilets seats for very long?
What could be the cause of this pimple? Heatiness? Stress? I have been rather stressed lately.

I had recently had sex out of the county (end of June) but used a condom while having intercourse. Three days later I had diarrhea followed by discomfort in my abdomen area. My shaft of my penis (not head) did touch her vagina but never penetrated. 25 days later, my diarrhea is gone but the abdomen discomfort is still there.
I have been very stressed over this. I had this discussion with my doctor and assured me that if I came home with these symptoms, I did not contract any STD's because of how immediate they appeared. He also feels because I was also out of the country, it could of been something that I simply ate, but then I ask, "why am I still feeling like this?" Also, because of my stress, I have not been eating correctly, think I am losing weight and beginning to feel they are all related to symptoms to HIV.
Could I have caught something and show symptoms so quickly? and could I be simply thinking too much about it that I think I have every symptom in the book? |

I had protected sex with two commercial sex workers 10 and 13 weeks ago.
In the last 2-3 days, I have developed redness over my scrotum with tiny white spots on it. There is no itch and it burns slightly at times.
I have also got a small lump inside my mouth below my lower jaw. It hurts only if I press my tongue hard against it. I also have burning and sticky sensation in my armpits. I also have a sore throat with really tiny spots on my outer lower lip.
Could these be symptoms of HIV or any other STD. I showed my scrotum redness to a doc and the doc prescribed an anti-fungal steroid based cream for it.
